About Guarding the Flock
Guarding the Flock is a London-based consultancy founded by a former Church of England Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser. We exist to equip clergy, parishes, and faith-based communities with safeguarding support that is clear, practical, and rooted in integrity—free from institutional spin.
We recognise the weight of responsibility leaders carry. Safeguarding can feel like a heavy burden, especially when pastoral care, compliance, and accountability collide. Too often, it becomes reduced to a tick-box exercise rather than being understood as a vital part of the Church’s witness and ministry.
